This privacy policy outlines in detail how LIVIN'KILI EXPERIENCE uses and protects the information you provide to us. The information, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, and emails, is used for inquiries or registration purposes.
We collect information purposefully to provide the best products and services you request. This information is also necessary for park registration and obtaining permits. The government may use it for statistical purposes. Additionally, we may use your information to provide you with special offers and promotions that we believe may be of interest to you.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
✓ Who we are:
We are a Tanzanian travel and tour company with substantial experience in planning and operating adventure trips on mountains, safaris, and Zanzibar beaches. With the exceptional service we offer, we pride ourselves on being the best company of your choice. By accepting our terms and conditions, your bookings are in contract with LIVIN'KILI EXPERIENCE, ensuring you are in the right place.
✓ Bookings and Payment:
The booking process begins once we receive your email or phone call. Our tour consultant will be responsible for communicating, planning, and organizing your trip. An invoice will be provided for a deposit or full payment. A deposit of at least 30% of the total charges for your trip is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Tanzania, but it must be settled at least 14 days before the start date of your tour. If you need more time to make the payment, please notify us in advance.
✓ Cancellation and Refund:
If you wish to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing via email. The date of your cancellation will be considered the date we receive your notice. If your tour date is changed, lodge and land transport fees may be subject to penalties or may be non-penalty. If no penalty is incurred, we will reschedule your trip to a new date. Cancellation fees are as follows:
- 60-40 days prior to departure: 20% of trip cost
- 30-15 days prior to departure: 40% of trip cost
- 15-0 days prior to departure: 100% of trip cost
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.
✓ Passport, Visa & Other Documents:
All clients must ensure that their passport, visa, proof of vaccination, travel insurance, and other necessary documents are in order for entry into Tanzania. The company will not be liable for any issues related to documents prior to the start of the tour. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
✓ Booking by Agent:
When booking through an agent, the agent is responsible for ensuring that all participants have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions. The agent must inform each participant of these terms.
✓ Booking by Minors:
It is against the law for minors to book on their own. Bookings for minors must be made by parents, guardians, or custodians who accept these terms and conditions on behalf of the minors. Supervisors are responsible for the conduct of minors and will be held liable for any damage they may cause.
✓ Marketing and Advertisements:
The company reserves the right to use any photos and videos taken during your tours for marketing and advertising purposes. Guests must grant consent to the company to use and retain copyright of photos, videos, and other materials. If you do not wish for your images to be used, please inform us in advance.
✓ Baggage and Risk:
All baggage and personal effects are the client’s responsibility at all times during the tour. LIVIN'KILI EXPERIENCE will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal effects. Guests must acknowledge that adventurous activities in nature involve some element of personal risk. The company will not be liable for any injury, damage to property, or loss of life that may occur for any reason. Clients accept full responsibility for all risks involved.
✓ Force Majeure:
Unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, riots, mechanical breakdowns, war, and other reasons beyond the control of the company, may cause delays or changes to the tour. The company shall not be held liable for any impacts these occurrences may have.
✓ Complaints:
If any problems arise during your tour, please inform us immediately via email or the emergency contact listed in your booking details. If the issue cannot be resolved during the tour, please send us a written complaint within ten days of the end of the tour for further investigation and resolution. We will not be liable for complaints submitted after this period.
ANY CONFIRMATION OR PAYMENT OF YOUR TRIP WITH US CERTIFIES THAT YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ARE FULLY BOUND BY THEM.
